Terri Knight
She/Her
Board Treasurer
I have built a 35-year career in accounting, focusing on system processes, budgeting and cost v benefit analysis. I support the core mission of Kickstand by focusing on the costs associated with carrying out the mission, and ensuring the resources available are used most efficiently to achieve our goals. I am proud to see us flourish during these difficult past few years.
I have been involved in Portland comedy since 2007 and have been in the same room as Portland luminaries such as Ian Karmel, Brad Fortier and Dylan Rieff. I pivoted to storytelling and have appeared in Pants on Fire, Seven Deadly Sins and Daria’s Confessional Cabaret. My current goal is to win a Moth story slam.
I served 14 years as a Minds Matter volunteer; an organization dedicated to helping high achieving teens striving to be the first in their families to reach and succeed in college.
I also spend a lot of time in my home yarn studio, learning new techniques and methods of creating beautiful, wearable art.
